Agricultural irrigation system in India branches out from the main river into Sub-canals and Capillary Canals. Originally, clay and earthen canals caused seepage and almost 40% loss of water. Even concrete construction tends to erode and crack over time. Emmbi has developed and commissioned a Specialized “Composite Canal Liner” across India. This geo membrane liner remains intact and allows time for repairing of the surface concrete canal, thus saving a lot of water. Canal liners are made from special cattle safe material.
